About the check
Is this a proper inspection?
No. It's a guide, based only on what you tell us. It shows what usually causes problems like yours. We look at the ground before any work is planned, and we'll tell you if it's different.
Do I have to give my details to see the result?
No. The result shows straight away. If you'd like us to ring, you can leave your number under it. We only use it to ring you about your garden.
Why do you keep talking about the ground?
Because that's usually where the problem is. Plants die in soggy, packed or sandy ground, and new plants in the same ground go the same way. Fix the soil and the water first, and what you plant has a real chance.
What if I don't know what my soil is like?
Pick "Not sure". That's a fine answer. We'll dig down and look on the day.
My retaining wall is leaning. Is it safe?
We can't tell from here. Keep people and pets clear of it, and ring us. Taller walls need an engineer or council approval, and we check before we start.
Does any of this cost anything?
The check is free, and so is the quote. A full garden design is a paid service, and if we build it the fee comes off the job.
